Support for GCE Humanities

As September approaches the following reminders may be helpful:

Support materials. The website page includes the following

- detailed schemes of work for each unit

- glossaries for each unit

- skills guidance including a Powerpoint presentation

- specimen question papers and markschemes

We are also preparing some candidate-style responses for G101 and G102 with commentary which will be ready to go on the website by October. I will put a post here when they are on the website.

There will be a Get Ready half day INSET event if there is sufficient interest. At present this is not on Eventbooker - I am investigating this and will post here when you can express interest.

If you have any queries about GCE Humanities please email FAO Margaret Kerry

Update on INSET for GCE

Update on INSET for GCE Humanities

An Introduction to GCE Humanities event will be put onto Eventbooker. This replaces the previous Get Ready event and anyone who had registered an interest for that event will automatically be transferred to this one. When there is sufficient interest a date will be arranged and those who have registered an interest will be contacted. The date of 31 July is not the course date but an internal date required by the system.

The course will introduce and outline all four units of the specification and the resources available to support teaching.
