G673 Crime and Deviance question
Firstly, did we all think the C&D questions were acceptable?
Secondly, I've been teaching C&D for ages and I think I needa a change. I used to do education. Any thoughts?
Thirdly, when is the pre-release for G671 due out? Any time now I'd have thought.

Pre release for G671? End of March- should be 6 weeks before the exam. I enjoy teaching education. I think there's less to know... but as a result I think the marking is quite harsh. Sometimes they set qs to trip the qs up. I also think it is the best one to do to ink into the synoptic unit.
It would be helpful to know what areas the Crime and Deviance questions covered in the January papers in order to reply to the discussion.
In addition, it would be useful to know what the topic areas were for social inequality and difference part of G674 for the January paper. This could also encourage discussion.

I was hoping for this too- but we are being advised not to post the qs so we can use as mocks in the summer. 1. I wouldn't use as mocks as the same qs are unlikely to come up again and 2. None of my students are sly enough or have enough time on their hands to join a community in the hope of guessing mock qs.

I totally agree with you Lazy Lo.! My understanding was that this site was secure for teachers. I think the discussions were a lot more honest when they wrere conducted on the old email system. It seems that debate is being closed down as there are so few postings. I found the advice given by experienced practitioners and the sharing of resources has dried up with this new sysyem.
