Hello all J

I was wondering if anybody has any inspiring ideas about how to teach the key studies at either AS or A2?

I’m finding the G543 options paper really dry to teach, with the same ‘study, evaluation, study, evaluation’ structure every lesson.

I was just wondering if anyone could share anything that has worked particularly well with any of the studies. I am happy to share anything I have also.

Thanks a lot,

Kerry

Hi Kerry

I agree, it does get repetitive though my A2 group hate it if i deviate off the study evaluation study evaluation. However with my AS group at the start of every study I recreate the study in some way. For example we just learnt about Loftus and Palmer so i turned my classroom into a crash scene. for Savage, i recreate a jungle and fill it with cuddly apes and i even walk around with one on my back. I dress up as Freud, this is always a hoot! i even use the resussy annie doll for dement and kleitman and i have her sleepng in the middle of the room hooked up to a eeg machine (fake of course). unfortunately we still have to go through the details and evaluate but i find they remember the study better because i made it more visual and fun.
