I made this to try and descibe the relationship between text and audience for my Film Studies students, but thought it might be quite good for G325 1b (audience).

Nice, succint, I like this, and will probably slip this into a Film Studies revision lesson today!
Antmandee's comments raised a good point, and I've subsequently 'tweaked' the situation bullet point.
I suppose I'd better put something up here too, help keep the ball rolling.

Under the "factors for audience" I'm not sure what you mean by situation. I'd want to include ...

Under the "factors for audience" I'm not sure what you mean by situation. I'd want to include something on the platform that the film was being viewed on -is that what you mean by situation? I'd also want to include, but I'm not sure where, something on the format of the film. Films in IMAX by their nature create a different experience than the same film in standard ratio. As does 3D.
Yes, by situation I meant exactly what you say. I nicked that word from Stuart Hall were he talks about 'situated culture', which I took to mean the situation in which the text was consumed.
