In Summer 2012 if students are entered for 2 units A811 + A812 and if they do A813 + A814 in Summer 2013

Can we claim for full award (J734) in June 2013 if we have not claimed for the SHORT COURSE AWARD in June 2012?

OR do we claim for the 2 SHORT COURSES  namely J034 in Summer 2012 & J134 in Summer 2013? Please clarify.

If you wish to take the whole GCSE but sit the exams in two sessions the best way is to enter candidates for A811 and A812 and the speaking short course J034 in June 2012. For June 2013 you would enter candidates for A813 and A814 and the full course certificate J734. The results for A811 and A812 will automatically be taken from 2012.

This will only be possible in 2012 and 2013. From 2014 all GCSE exams have to be sat in a linear fashion, ie. all exams sat in the same session you wish to certificate.
