We have asked students to compare the school use of information against a local cinema

If I may ask do you provide any type of information to the students to look at or must they just find their own and compare it.

I agree, I'm finding this really vague. The students just don't seem to understand. I don't feel I know in enough detail how organisations havee information flows in their businesses myself so how can I expect the students to know this, our find it out from internet research ?

Hi everyone new here and like a lot of people still finding my feet with the Cambridge Tech, I had taught the Level 3 course prior and found that considerably easier to teach mainly due to the guidance provided.

Don't know if anyone else has noticed but the BTEC Level 3 National in IT text book by HODDER EDUCATION has really good info for Unit 2 Cambs Tec.  In the book the information needed is under their Unit 3.  But it contains about 90% of what is needed to teach the students about 'operational support' for instance.  There is no scenario as such, just facts.   It also has other chapters that match closely with other Cambs Tec units.  Be careful though, there are some differences.    Also if you do a google search on 'BTEC Level 3 national unit 3' you will find other useful resources around for our Unit 2 - there are some on www.Teach-ict.com
